The rite
Warm three to five drops of oil in the palms and work down to the skin, then out through the length. Follow with a fingertip of butter, emulsified between the hands and drawn through the beard. Morning and night, until the beard answers.

Start with a Clean Beard
For best results, apply after a shower or washing your beard — when hair and skin are clean and slightly damp.
